It smells bad, and it's thicker than a sock (like winter thick socks), so I think I should get shoes that are one size larger than my usual ones.

Purchased for the wrong reason but re-read description. Is not good for support or relief of foot pain because it is very thin non-supporting material. However, it is actually described as being for the skin of the foot and moisturizing and for this it seems very acceptable. Material is light weight and would be a better value if it were a pack of 2+ pairs.
